Ohakune Mardi Gras 
| "The Ohakune Mardi Gras is a awesome night of fun at The Junction its a party at the base of the southern ski slopes of Mt Ruapehu" last year it was booked out and we had alot of people return to our lodge dissapointed because they didn't book the tickets to get into the cornered off area of town so be onto it, by the amount of return people to our lodge they all had a ball regardless The Crossing Backpackers is a great place to party!!

2011 was a blast, the build up at the lodge was awesome, most guests were dressed in costumes we had just under 100 people leave the lodge via our fun bus and fun it was, next year we will be providing free for guests a big roast of meat/gravy, onions and fresh bread for samies and a prize for best costume, see you then. |
